At Makeyourpillow, both terms refer to the same flagship product: a cuddly object cut to a pet's silhouette, made from a photo. "Pillow" emphasizes the cuddly and nocturnal function (bed, sofa), while "cushion" focuses on the decorative aspect. Our product combines both uses — it decorates a couch and cuddles equally well at night.

Three sizes, two print modes

  • Small (S) — about 30 cm / 12". Perfect on a desk, in a kid's bedroom, or as an affordable gift.
  • Medium (M) — about 45 cm / 18". Our most requested size. Ideal on a couch or bed.
  • Large (L) — about 60 cm / 24". The "XL plush" effect for special favorites.

Choose between single-sided (image on front, plain back) or double-sided (image on both sides, ideal for pets with a distinctive profile).

Can the personalized pillow be used to sleep?

Yes, polyester filling is soft and comfortable. However, its cut-out shape is not a traditional orthopedic pillow — it is rather intended for decorative and cuddly use (couch, bed as a complement).

What is the difference with a classic photo pillow?

A classic photo pillow is a rectangle with an image printed on it. Our pillow is **cut to the silhouette** of your pet — the shape follows the subject and gives a plush effect, not a photo frame look.

What photo should I use?

A sharp picture, ideally in daylight, with the pet well visible. Avoid dark or blurry images. Our team retouches the background and improves contrast for free before production.

Is the pillow washable?

Hand or machine wash at 30°C / 86°F, delicate cycle. Flat dry. Avoid tumble drying to preserve the velvet and the print.

How long until I receive my personalized pillow?

7 to 14 days on average: 2-3 days for the email mockup, 5-7 days of production, 2-3 days of shipping for France & EU.
